Pour la petite histoire, les Ami 6 étaient aux yeux de son designer (Flaminio Bertoni, lui-même à l'origine de la DS) l'une de ses plus grandes réussites. L'arrière en forme de 'Z' des tous premiers modèles, si controversé, était particulièrement original et osé. La face avant était aussi très originale et osée, avec des yeux en amandes. D'autres constructeurs ont d'ailleurs tenté la même chose à la même époque. Je pense notamment à la Ford Taunus 17M P3 de 1961. La P3 et la Citroën Ami de 1961 ont d'ailleurs été les premières voitures à proposer des phares qui n'étaient pas ronds (!)
